Bell bottomed pants were mainly fashionable for women, but occasionaly men wore them too. They are a style of pants that becomes wider athe knees downward forming a bell shape of the pant leg. This style originated in the early 1900s when some sailors wore pants similar to this. In the 1970s though, they became widely popular and a big fashion trend.
